Dr. Cyril E. Geacintov, President/CEO of the DRG® Group, announces the issuance of an additional US PATENT NO. 7,998,691 to DRG International, Inc., covering a competitive enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) to reliably detect mature hepcidin in serum over a large concentration range (0.9-140 mg ml-1). DRG® developed the monoclonal antibody ELISA to quantify serum hepcidin levels to diagnose disease conditions including hemochromatosis and other iron level conditions related to liver and other human disorders. |
