Dr. Hang Gui is the Director of China Operations for DRG International located in Mountainside, New Jersey. During his five year tenure, he opened the DRG International, Inc. Beijing Representative Office.

With an international presence, Dr. Gui commutes regularly between Beijing and the United States to oversee operations, as well as attend exhibitions and professional shows in China.

Before joining DRG International, Dr. Gui was the first employee of Medtronic Inc, based in China. In this role, Dr. Gui was responsible for customer services and technical support for Chinese EPs throughout the marketplace. Upon joining Medtronic, he was instrumental in negotiations between Medtronic and local companies for joint venture projects.

Previously, Dr. Gui worked at Zynergy CardioVascular, Inc. As a director of the company’s marketing and sales department for Asia, he was in charge of planning all activities in the market, and reporting such activities directly to the executive board. In this role, Dr. Gui established a joint venture company in Shanghai for EP catheters production and distribution in China.

Earlier in his career, Dr. Gui worked at the Beijing Fuwai Hospital, where he served as a cardiologist.

Dr. Gui received his medical degree from Peking Union Medical, and his Master of Business Administration from the University of Illinois.
