Prolactin Elisa used in Angora goat plasma

Mountainside, New Jersey, March 2010

DRG International, Inc. announces that researchers used the DRG® Prolactin Elisa kit (EIA-1291) in research on the effects of prolactin on mohair growth in Angora goats.  The research, published in a recent article in The Journal of Animal Science, concluded that "direct skin infusion with prolactin decreased mohair fiber synthesis by the skin and may have concomitantly lessened oxygen consumption."
