      Vlad V. Kaluzhny is the Business Development Manager of DRG International. With more than ten years of experience within the doors of DRG International, Vlad has significantly contributed to the strategic vision and growth of the Company since 2001.

 

Currently, Vlad is responsible for regional sales management of the DRG subsidiaries in Eastern Europe. In this role, Vlad oversees sourcing and implementation of new types of medical equipment and medical services. He is also instrumental in operational support for orders placed by the DRG subsidiaries. Vlad’s other areas of expertise include processing correspondence and other paperwork in Russian language; handling administration of the corporate DRG website; and providing technical support of daily operation at the DRG International headquarters.

 

On a day-to-day basis, Vlad supervises DRG International’s Eastern European Subsidiaries and works with DRG distributors worldwide. This includes working directly with industry leading manufacturers such as General Electric and Stereotaxis, and many other worldwide suppliers of medical equipment and diagnostics products.

 

Prior to joining DRG, Vlad began his working career in the Russian Aerospace industry in the early 1990s, involved in such projects that would soon be known as the International Space Station Program. Additionally, Vlad served as vice president of a Manhattan-based international trade company, and as a senior analyst at an investment management firm in New York City.

 

The majority of Vlad’s professional career has been dedicated towards assisting on special projects. For example, he participates in frame contracts of “turn-key” setting up complete medical centers. Also, he is often in contact with multiple manufacturers simultaneously, helping in the construction of facilities supplied by DRG as the general contractor.

 

Vlad holds an Advanced Masters Degree in Rocket Science and Engineering with honors from Moscow Aerospace University, as well as a professional Diploma of Interpreter-Translator of English Language. His areas of specialty within the University included Computerized Design of On-Board Systems and Equipment for Orbital Space Station, and Interplanetary Manned Missions.
